Working with a BBQ thermometer

A steak like a shoe sole, raw chicken and dried out fish. It happens to all of us sometimes, but the good news is that this can be prevented with a food thermometer. Determine in advance what core temperature your dish should reach and set your thermometer accordingly (for the wireless versions) or regularly check your dish with a digital core thermometer.

Keep in mind that the temperature of your dish - after you have removed it from the BBQ and let it rest for a while - often rises a few degrees. 

Installation of the Bluetooth BBQ thermometer with 2 probes

Download the app from the App Store or Google Play store. Follow the app's instructions to pair the thermometer with the phone via Bluetooth. Choose the dish and the doneness you want and off you go! Of course you can also enter a desired final temperature yourself.

How a digital Bluetooth BBQ thermometer works

The BBQ thermometer is equipped with 2 separate probes that you can use to monitor the temperature of your dishes. The digital thermometer works via Bluetooth with an app that you can install on your iPhone or Android phone. You set the app what the food type is and then the app does the rest (well, turning dishes, removing them from the BBQ and serving them, we haven't been able to teach the app yet...). You can monitor the status of the ambient temperature (BBQ thermometer) and the temperature of your dishes (probes) live on your phone.
